"Bliss" "Itadakimasu" und "Are they or aren't they" ....
-
Bliss = verletzt, zerstückelt, blutend usw. also charactere (nahe am) tod
Itadakimasu = character beim essen.
Jadeduo schrieb:I have a special request to make! Please, please, please! Label the art with the anime and character the cel is from. I am by no means an expert on every anime/animation ever made and I will do it for the few who have sent in entries! I just spent twenty minutes browsing someone's gallery for the information. Granted I enjoyed it, but it is early days yet!
And when it gets down to crunchtime, I won't be able to do it for everyone!
So please, label the art with bare minimum: category, anime, and characters present in the cel!!
Thanks,

@ Frost Entschuldige hab mich verlessen.
Bliss = verletzt, zerstückelt, blutend usw. also charactere (nahe am) todJadeduo schrieb:Bliss
Blood on the Ground - Characters on the verge of death, or those that really are gravely injured, dying, or dead. (C, R)
Creepy
Bliss = Joy/freude.
die neuen kategorie namen usw. finde nervig. -
-
Yep, das wäre was gewesen.

Jadeduo schrieb:Quick Rules Regulations Primer and a Reminder!
1) If you submitted artwork for consideration in this contest, you must vote for all categories. The only exceptions are the optional categories (Eyes on Me, Posteriors, Novel Set-up etc.). These categories are both optional to vote in and optional to submit artwork to. However,if you submitted artwork to an optional category, you must vote in that category. I don't think this is going to be a problem for most as the one Hentai category was cut, although Posteriors did remarkably well!!
2) This is being done a little different from years past, the entries are all posted on SurveyMonkey instead of being tallied via e-mail or the special code that Beta used to use in the past because it has been officially retired from use by the creator. This will be the very first time the cel contest is being done this way, and I hope if it goes well I can just flop this system over to the Sketch Contest as well. Once the voting is over and the winners announced the RESULTS will be PUBLISHED and open to the public, if there are any questions please ask me right away via e-mail or PM I generally am pretty quick to get back unless there is an emergency.
3) FOLLOW the instructions when voting, and make sure that you put your Anime-Beta User ID (Handle) On EVERY vote you cast. If you do not I will have to toss the vote, this is just a way to keep everyone honest, and also a way for me to make sure everyone who participates votes in EVERYcategory that they are supposed to!
VOTING INSTRUCTIONS
1) Each category has it's own link... click on the link to view the entries. There are a few categories with two pages because there are more than 9 pieces submitted to the category. Please make sure with those that you view both pages before voting.
2) After viewing the entries decide which one you like, and put a check next to it!
3) After checking, pop your Anime-Beta User ID into the empty field where requested
4) Click Done! Repeat until you have voted in all categories that you are required to vote in!
It should be very easy! Again please let me know if you have any problems right away!

So congratulations to all the winners! The quality was epic this year and I want to thank Nehelenia for doing some site testing for me, AnimeObsessed for creating this years awards! And everyone who participated this year!
http://betaawards2014.rubberslug.com/gallery/home.asp
Also make sure you go vote for Best in Show which places all the first place winners in each category against each other! Go vote for your favorite! The voting link is at the top of the contest page, voting works the same way! You MUST put your Beta ID in the vote for it to count! I would also recommend that you go in on the RS page and look at bigger images for each piece the winners pieces are all truly amazing!!
Congrats!

7.) If a category has only four entries, only #1 and #2 awards will be given. If a category has only three entries, only a #1 award will be given. Categories with fewer than three entries 24 hours before the beginning of voting will be eliminated. Contestants will have the chance to re-submit artwork to another category.
8.) Modification and/or enhancement of images is not permitted. The only exception is for oversized images requiring multiple scans. You may piece these scans together to make a complete image. Because sketches are generally harder to scan, i.e. pencil does not scan too well at times, basic modifications are allowed, brightness, contrast, and others depending on your image editing software, you may not however mash together any partials to make one image all sketches must be originally on the same piece of paper. This rule, however, DOES NOT apply to the category Mash-ups!. Final decisions are up to the contest runner...
